I've been teaching a new subject in LIS, Multiculturalism and Indigenous Knowledge for Libraries and Information Centers. In this course, we study the library as a space that caters to people from different backgrounds and cultures. We also discuss library services for minorities and marginalized groups, including people with disabilities and other conditions. This topic is applicable to this new LIS subject. The Arizona Library Association is inviting participants for the AzLA Professional Development Committee November webinar.
