Baguio City Library launches website and integrated library management system

Photo from the BCPL Website In its mission to modernize their public library, the Baguio City Public Library recently launched their new website and online integrated library system. The website will include a digital library, and will serve as a means to provide online library services.  Users may now search the library's Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) through their website. Subscribed resources and open access databases are linked for the convenience of clients and researchers. eBooks can also be downloaded by registered users. The website includes a news section for news and updates on the library. Clients from Baguio City can also create accounts for full access to the library's services and resources. Nat'l Library of the Philippines launches online platform for ISBN application (FREE)

Effective January 26, 2022, the National Library of the Philippines (NLP), Bibliographic Services Division (BSD) will use an online application system through https://ins-poas.nlp.gov.ph/ for clients requesting for International Standard Book Number (ISBN), International Standard Serial Number (ISSN), and International Standard Music Number (ISMN). Applications for ISBN, ISSN, and ISMN are FREE OF CHARGE. For a list of requirements, go to the NLP website: How to get an ISBN . Publishers are to submit two (2) copies of printed books or CD/DVD or email/link of downloadable file of your ebooks, serials, ongoing continuing resources, and notated music to NLP within 30 days of publication. Himamaylan City Public Library to add coworking space, redesign library

Check out the architect’s designs for the Main Library area and our new innovation: Himamaylan’s first Co-Working Space! All this is made possible through Mayor Raymund Tongson, our Himamaylan City Public Library (HCPL) Head Vice Mayor Justin Gatuslao, and the Library Board."
