 The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP) will be hosting a webinar on the topic, "Libraries communicating across generations: history, culture, religion and science" on August 19, 2022 (Friday), 1:00 PM via Zoom. According to PRC CPDAS , this event has 3.0 CPD units for attendees. The event is limited to 300 participants only. It is free for members. For non-members, there is a fee of P400 and P100 for undergraduate BLIS students. They are the first BLIS students to graduate Summa cum Laude in UP's history. Aside from the two graduates who got the highest Latin honors, this batch of UPSLIS graduates also boasts of three Magna cum Laude graduates and three Cum Laude graduates. These graduates belong to the SLIS' isibû Class of 2022. "Isibû" is a Hiligaynon word for 'adjust', "an apt theme for a class that has coped, responded, and prevailed over the many uncertainties of a pandemic that has eclipsed the majority of their time in UP."
