 The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP) will be hosting a webinar on the topic, "Libraries communicating across generations: history, culture, religion and science" on August 19, 2022 (Friday), 1:00 PM via Zoom. According to PRC CPDAS , this event has 3.0 CPD units for attendees. The event is limited to 300 participants only. It is free for members. For non-members, there is a fee of P400 and P100 for undergraduate BLIS students. 2 BLIS students graduate as Summa Cum Laude in UP

Left: Marzon Alfonso and Right: Stephen Torres Photos from the UP Diliman Facebook page Two Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) students from the University of the Philippines School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors: Stephen Jorel Sikat Torres and Marzo Meco Bagayaua Alfonso. They are the first BLIS students to graduate Summa cum Laude in UP's history. Aside from the two graduates who got the highest Latin honors, this batch of UPSLIS graduates also boasts of three Magna cum Laude graduates and three Cum Laude graduates. These graduates belong to the SLIS' isibû Class of 2022.
