PRC: June to August 2020 board exams postponed to 2021

In a news article from the PRC website , it was announced that licensure examinations scheduled from June to August 2020 are postponed to next year, 2021.  There are still no official dates, but they will be announced on their official website and social media pages. Here are the following professions with licensure examinations affected: Environmental Planners Guidance Counselors Interior Designers Landscape Architects Mining Engineers Nutritionists-Dietitians Psychologists Psychometricians Social Workers Veterinarians Master Plumbers Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics Medical Technologists Occupational Therapists Physical Therapists Sanitary Engineers There is no official announcement yet regarding the Librarian Licensure Examination scheduled for September 8-9, 2020. DOH, WHO, & Globe provide free mobile data access to COVID KAYA, CART System for COVID-19 reporting

Globe has partnered with the Department of Health (DOH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in providing free mobile data access to COVID KAYA and the CART System for fast, accurate, and real time report delivery on COVID-19.  These platforms are for the benefit of frontliners and suspected COVID-19 patients. With the partnership, all frontliners who are required to enter their information in COVID KAYA mobile app as well as suspected COVID-19 patients who need to access the CART System site at https://detectcovid.doh.gov.ph , may do so without incurring mobile data charges as long as they use their Globe or TM account. “The Department of Health (DOH) is grateful to Globe for providing free mobile data to its users in order to access COVID KAYA and CART System. COVID-19 response app RC143 now FREE for all Globe/TM subscribers

As most of the country transitions to general community quarantine, the sense of normalcy that we so missed is slowly coming back. However, it is still best to be informed and practice safety precautions as quarantine protocols ease up and more people begin to leave their houses. In times like this, a tool like RC143 , a contract tracing app created by the Philippine Red Cross, is a must-have on every mobile phone. With this app, users can easily track their risk level, identify and avoid high-risk zones, and directly communicate with Red Cross personnel for questions about COVID-19 and medical assistance.
