MUNPARLAS Webinar on Hybrid Environment: Digital Knowledge, Skills and Applications for Libraries

The MUNPARLAS Library Association, Inc. in partnership with EBSCO will be holding a webinar on the topic "Hybrid Environment: Digital Knowledge, Skills and Applications for Libraries" on July 14, 2022 (Thursday), 8:30 AM via Zoom

CPD points have been applied and this post will be updated when it has been approved.

The webinar wants "to gather all Librarians and other Information Professionals from local to international sectors including those that come from the academe and allied professions. Discussions were deliberately chosen to update participants on the latest trends and development in the field of Librarianship and equip them with knowledge, skills, and applications in the hybrid environment."

The objectives of the webinar are:

  1. To engage librarians with advanced digital competencies for quality library services
  2. To learn and access digital resources and curated digital content materials which support learning and teaching in a hybrid environment
  3. To offer higher-level digital skills and applications to all librarians and other Information professionals.
  4. To create electronic presentations effectively and efficiently for all library clientele
  5. To develop digital skills policies and guidelines that apply in the different types of libraries

The speakers are Marilou L. Pasion, Associate Professor in Saint Louis University and Kevin Conrad T. Tansiongco, Senior Product Manager of Electronic Information Solutions, Inc.

Fees and payment

There is a fee of 100 pesos for members and 200 pesos for non-members. Payments through GCash or BDO are accepted.
