The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP) will be holding a webinar via Zoom on "Disaster Preparedness for the guardians of Special Libraries and Information Centers: Having order in case of chaos" on June 17, 2022 (Friday), 1-5 PM.
The webinar aims to:
- provide knowledge on the basic components of disaster preparedness
- identify the risks that affects the special collections the most
- illustrate how disaster preparedness maps the safety and security of the collections of special libraries
- identify challenges in developing and writing a disaster management plan
- provide examples of disaster management plan
