The University of the Philippines Visayas recently shared pictures of a planned UPV Main Library complex in the Miag-ao Campus in Iloilo.
The complex will include a modern library, executive offices, and an audio-visual theater.
This project was revised to a 2-phase plan under Chancellor Rommel Espinosa.
The university will officially unveil the plan in a program tomorrow, October 7, on the Administration Main Lobby of the UP Miag-ao Campus and will also be live-streamed online via their official websites and social media.
Earlier, the UP Los Baños Campus in Laguna also announced their plan to build a University Library and Knowledge Center (ULKC) to be completed in 2022. (Read more: Soon to rise: UPLB Library and Knowledge Center)
The University of the Philippines (UP) is the country’s national university. This premier institution of higher learning was established in 1908 and is now a university system composed of eight constituent universities and one autonomous college spread throughout 17 campuses in the archipelago.
