FREE webinar: Redesigning Online Services and Streamlining Processes using IT Applications in Libraries

The University of the Philippines Diliman University Library Staff Training and Development Committee (STDC) and the Information Technology Division will conduct the 2nd IT Colloquium for Libraries with the theme, “Redesigning Online Services and Streamlining Processes using IT Applications in Libraries” on November 28, 2022 (Monday) from 1:30 to 4:30 PM. 

This is a free online event to be held via Zoom. This online research colloquium is in line with the Library and Information Services Month celebration for the month of November 2022. Librarians, library staff, LIS faculty, and students are encouraged to register.

Objectives

  • To gain insights in enhancing the library experience of users through the use of IT applications
  • To advocate the use of IT applications in delivering online library services
  • To explore new technologies and trends that may place Philippine libraries at par with more advanced and innovative libraries abroad
  • To share best practices and experiences in developing and implementing information systems
  • To discuss possible solutions to current challenges in implementing online library services
