Webinar: Breaking Barriers, Taking Actions and strategizing for Resiliency and Excellence

The Philippine Group of Law Librarians, Inc. will be hosting a webinar on "Breaking Barriers, Taking Actions and Strategizing for Resiliency and Excellence" on August 30-September 1, 2022 (Tuesday to Thursday). This event will be held in celebration of PGLL’s 42nd Anniversary. 

This event is free for PGLL members and there is a fee of 200 pesos for non-members. Registration link, invitation, and payment details can be found below.

Objectives

• to be apprised of and gain inspiration from the changing and evolving roles of law librarians as leaders and managers amidst the pandemic; 
• to equip law librarians in the proper organization, management and care of vital legal resources with the help of technology; 
• to empower law librarians as risk  managers through timely identification, management and resolution of library and  institutional risks that impact the delivery of services, and; 
• to have a working knowledge of emerging and user-friendly digital tools to enhance accessibility of legal  information sources. 

The keynote speaker is Dr. Maureen Henninger, Visiting Fellow from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in University of Technology Sydney. She is currently a Visiting Professor for the School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) in University of the Philippines, Diliman.
