Iloilo City Public Library located in the Iloilo City Hall has inaugurated its Crisis Intervention Unit Library today, November 29, 2020. Present during the ceremony is Congresswoman Julienne "Jam-Jam" Baronda.

This library was launched last February "to support the needs of the children and to inspire them by the excitement of finding knowledge and by works of their imagination through reading."

This project is from the initiative of City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas through Iloilo City Public Library continuing project, "A Library for JUAN: Bring JUAN to the Library, Bring the Library to JUAN."

The library thanks the Iloilo City Government, Councilor Love Baronda, SK Federation, UAPGA Iloilo Chapter, UAP Iloilo Bahandi Chapter, Iloilo City Leadership Academy, National Movement of Young Legislators, JCI Iloilo Ilang-ilang, Global Shapers Community Iloilo, and Ilonggo Youth Lab for their support.
