El Asesinato del Gobernador Bustamante by Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo 

This publication elaborates the painting's place in the Philippines’ art history and the complex scientific processes involved in art conservation. Hidalgo’s painting, The Assassination of Governor Bustamante, is a gift to the Filipino people from Leandro V. Locsin and Cecilia Yulo-Locsin and their family, which is held in trust by the NMP.

“This monograph will serve as in indispensable reference for students, researchers, historians, heritage professionals, conservators, and enthusiasts of Philippine art and cultural heritage,” remarked Director-General Barns.

Shifts in Context by Ofelia Gelvezon-Tequi 

Shifts in Context features the works of Tequi from her personal collection and from the National Fine Arts Collection (NFAC) created in 1968 until 2001.

This is dedicated to the Lumadnon as another collective indigenous group in the southern Philippines perceptively negotiating and narrating their place in Filipino society. This book is based on our permanent exhibition at the National Museum of Anthropology featuring over 200 material culture from the National Ethnographic Collection.

This book is about the archaeological excavation of Ayub Cave in Maitum, Sarangani, resulted in the discovery of anthropomorphic burial jars.

Saga of the San Diego

"The Saga of the San Diego", is a highly informative illustrated catalogue for the introductory partial exhibit "Alay ng Dagat-The San Diego 1600 Time Capsule". Published by the Concerned Citizens for the National Museum, it documents the significant archaeological and historical finds retrieved from the "San Diego", a warship which sank off Fortune Island in Nasugbu, Batangas Province, Philippines.

The Basi Revolt by Esteban Villanueva 

This series of fourteen oil paintings on canvas comprise the earliest known works to depict a historical event in the Philippines, in this case, The Basi Revolt of 1807.
