Elvira Lapuz is UP's new University Librarian

Ms. Elvira B. Lapuz is the newly appointed University Librarian of the University of the Philippines. 

She was appointed in the 1354th meeting of the Board of Regents. 

She previously served as the Head Librarian of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy in UP Diliman. She is also a Senior Lecturer for Library and Information Science. 

She also previously served as President of the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc., the national organization of librarians in the country.

The University of the Philippines (UP) is the country’s national university. This premier institution of higher learning was established in 1908 and is now a university system composed of eight constituent universities and one autonomous college spread throughout 17 campuses in the archipelago.
