Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI) in partnership with Emerald Publishing is offering a free online lecture forum on COVID-19 Post-Community Quarantine Strategies for Libraries.
This will be on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 1 PM-4 PM.

"This lecture forum seeks to provide a platform for promoting greater awareness and understanding of the challenges and different situations faced by libraries and librarians during the post-community quarantine. It attempts to identify strategies and solutions to address issues and concerns regarding use and access to library collections and safety measures to protect staff and patrons from COVID-19. This forum will focus on library services during the COVID-19 pandemic, handling library materials, cleaning library surfaces, staff safety, and working from home policy."

The main speaker will be Dr. Khasiah Zakaria, Chief Librarian of the University of Malaya.
