Webinar with CPD points: Design thinking for librarians on August 30 2022

The Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) will be holding a webinar on "Design Thinking for Librarians: Making Value to Approach Problem-Solving" via Zoom on August 30, 2022 (Tuesday), from 8:30 AM-3:30 PM.

CPD points have been applied for and is on process. This post will be updated on the number of CPD units for this event.

Registration fees are: P300 for members, P350 for non-members, and P200 for students. Pre-registration is required for interested attendees.

The webinar aims to "aims to provide a learning environment for new ideas and insightful discussions among library and information professionals in the country."

  • The webinar will also cover how to:
  • Recognize how design thinking works as a strategy of innovation;
  • Explore and expound on the design thinking framework concerning librarianship;
  • Gain valuable knowledge of the design thinking process; and
  • Learn how to improve libraries based on the standards through a creative problem-solving approach.
